GLOBE Seasons and Biomes Training includes atmosphere protocols and plant phenology protocols, related learning activities, best teaching practices and the GLOBE Model for Student Scientific Research and Earth As a System concept. Assessment is also part of the training. This training is a good preparation before the GLOBE Student Climate Research Campaign in September 2011.
The training is conducted by Dr. Elena Bautista Sparrow and Ms. Martha R. Kopplin of the Seasons and Biomes Project and the Alaska GLOBE Partnership, located at the International Arctic Research Center, University of Alaska Fairbanks, USA.

Participation fee
Participation in the training is free of charge. Participants have to cover their costs on transport and accommodation.
Cost for one day is 38 EUR per person for a twin or double room, 52 EUR for a single room. The price includes the following: accommodation, buffet-breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch, dinner.
