Dear participants of the GLOBE Regional Learning Expedition 2015,<\/p>\n

In this second circular you will find further practical information about the GLOBE Regional Learning Expedition 2015.<\/p>\n

Registration forms<\/b><\/p>\n

Deadline for registration is 25.05.2015. Please fill all the required fields and make sure all names are written correctly to avoid complications during your travel. You can find registration forms at http:\/\/www.globe.ee\/GRLE2015\/<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Travel<\/b>
\n<\/b>We kindly ask you to inform us of your travel itinerary as soon as possible so we can assist you in any way possible.<\/p>\n

All tickets will be bought by GLOBE Estonia after registration has ended.

Pick-up of participants from Tallinn<\/b><\/p>\n

On August 3, all participants will be taken to the location of the GRLE2015 with a bus organized by GLOBE Estonia. Bus will depart from Tallinn in the morning of August 3. There will be stops on the way and possibly some sight-seeing. All of the times will be included in the schedule, which will be sent to you with the 3rd circular.<\/p>\n

Presentations by countries<\/b><\/p>\n

We expect prepared performance from each delegation that would best showcase what the GLOBE Program has been up to in their countries. You could talk about Summer Camps, local research projects, data collection at schools, etc. The presentation can be in any shape or form. A projector will be available for usage. Each presentation should be 10 minutes long and does not have strict rules.<\/p>\n

We expect your country to prepare one social activity (e.g national game) and carry it out on the first evening. The main aim of social evening is to build bridges between participants.<\/p>\n

Accommodation and meals<\/b><\/p>\n

The GRLE2015 will be held at Nelij\u00e4rve, Harju county, Estonia. It is a quiet rural region, situated between four picturesque lakes and surrounded by high forests.<\/p>\n

All participants of GRLE 2015 will be provided with full-board catering, covering all breakfasts, lunches, dinners. During your possible overnight stay in Tallinn due to travelling arrangements, we kindly ask you to provide dinner for yourself.<\/p>\n

On location you will be accommodated in the hostel and cabin-houses of Nelij\u00e4rve Recreational Centre in rooms of 2 and 3. You can find more information about the Centre here: http:\/\/www.nelijarve.ee\/en\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Venue<\/b><\/p>\n

The majority of events take place at the Nelij\u00e4rve Recreational Centre, with only some of the expeditions going off campgrounds.<\/p>\n

Lectures and presentations will be held indoors in a conference hall. Most events, including study-sessions and the expedition, will be outdoor activities.<\/p>\n

Materials and preparation<\/b><\/p>\n

Participants will be provided with all materials at the registration desk by the organizers.<\/p>\n

We strongly advise participants to bring along comfortable and weather-proof clothing and shoes for outdoor activities.<\/p>\n
